Life Underwriting Manual
TRUM, Toa Re’s Underwriting manual, is designed for underwriting procedures of life insurance and provided to clients of Toa Re. TRUM covers medical risks including Life, Accidental Death Benefit (ADB), Critical Illness (CI), Waiver of Premium (WP), Total and Permanent Disability (TPD), Health Insurance (HI) with features of up-to-date contents and user-friendly access. It is structured with a detailed description of each impairment with epidemiology, causes, signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment. To support the assessment by an underwriter, it is also structured with prognosis, pertinent requirements, and classification systems for those more complicated subjects such as cancer and definitions of severity.
